Humans
Of all the races present in this world, none are more diverse than the humans. While it's true that every race has the black sheeps of the family, the humans are by far the most diverse. Some humans cling to sword and honor while others dedicate their life to study or holy scripture. Some humans are vile and cruel while others are petty thieves. Human ingenuity at it's finest has proven that humans are by far the most adaptable, though their cultural diveristy and varriety in their overall race makes many other races wary of them. Powerful political structure with well presented armies, though commonly disliked and viewed as selfish and "finite" in their perceptions. Have a "healthy" relationship with orc's despite not being allies and are commonly held with disdain by most elves, this as only worsened due to their using elves and hobbits as slaves.

Elves
Elves once known as "The race of ancients" were beings that were tethered to the life force of the very world itself. Legend dictates that amongst the ancient elves was born a creature that was unlike them, lacking many things, smongst them being the pointed ears and immortality. Jealousy grew within this creature and it set forth to find it's own means of immortality. Eventually this being did find the immortality it sought, however it came at the price of elven immortality. This mortal elf turned immortal then burst forth with magical energy and scattered it's soul across all the realms of all the kingdoms, and ultimately lead to the creation of humans. While that is all subject to speculation and is likely just stories, the elves hold true to their dislike of the human race for their mortality. Their dislike of the race also going into the humans' selfish desires and diversity which provokes evil. The Elves are neutral to all other races, though on several accounts they have rallied to the aid of the Treants, the only other "ancient race" still existant upon this world.

Hobbits
An enigmatic race of short people that prove to be reliable hard workers and farmers. Hobbits are generally used by orcs and humans as slaves, while being welcomed by treants and being viewed ambivilantly by elves.

Treants
A race of ancients with vast knowldge and lore on all things. They generally serve as guardians of nature and all it's creatures. While they openly oppose war, they have proven several times that they will rise up and gladly fight against any and all that threaten not only themselves, but the balance of nature itself. Their primary enemy is the Orc's because of their destructive past and aggressive tendencies. They hold the elves close for their wisdom and their ties as ancient races, and they seem to openly accept the race known as hobbits. While they do not hate humans, they are incredibly wary of them, seeing them as too ambitions, so much so that they could ultimatly tip the balance of power and ruin not only the treants, but all of nature as well.

Orcs
When one says "Orc" they think of a blood thirsty monster rampaging and swinging an axe. While not entirely wrong, the orcs of modern day are quite different. While they still hold to the the monstous blood lust of the battlefield, the modern and civilized "greenskins" have proved to be far more than just mindless warriors. Throughout the years the Orc's have fought with every civilization for their own survival and for their own claim in this world that we know. This approach often times was rough, abrasive and even violent, however in times of great need they have proven to be a reliable ally and even shown diplomatic cunning to resolve situations. The Orcs are the nemesis of the Treant people, as their old paths of destruction lead to innovation and the use of fire to smoke out villages and ward off creatures, causing damage to the very arieas they once inhabited. They hold a mutually beneficial relationship with the humans, however they have never before committed themselves to an alliance. They value the ways of a warrior above all else. Takes Hobbits as slaves.
